When you buy online with your smartphone, the price is always there for you to see
You may have paid an internet service provider (ISP) $10 for a year’s internet use.
That could change if you bought an item online and then changed the price.
This is the case for the ecommerce auto service in the UK, but not in the US.
Why is this happening?
In the US, when you buy an item on Amazon, it is often automatically charged to the seller’s account.
When you choose to buy online, the seller will have the option to set the price for the item.
If the price of an item is changed in the store, the retailer is then able to automatically charge a new price for you.
This process is called “auto-negotiating”.
Auto-negotiation occurs when an online store decides to change the price in your account, so that you pay the old price for that item.
When a retailer makes this change, it will send an email to the email address you have provided for the change.
Amazon charges a “per item” fee of $2.99.
“The buyer’s email address will be charged for the new price and the original price will remain unchanged,” Amazon explains.
How do I know if my online purchase is being auto-negotiated?
Amazon’s website tells you if the auto-sale has occurred.
You can also check if the price has changed online.
If the item has changed price, the email will state that the new item price is $9.99, or $9 to the dollar.
The seller of the item may have chosen the same price for other items, or a different price for each item.
If this is the situation, Amazon’s automated email may tell you that the item was changed for $8.99 or $7.99 to the Dollar.
The email will also state that you can still pay the new retail price by entering the payment information in your payment box.
This may not always be the case, however.
Amazon’s email might suggest that you “select the correct price for this item”.
If you are unsure whether an item has been auto-sold, you can contact Amazon directly.
You will need to be logged into your account to get to the “Your Account” page.
Do you have to be registered for auto-selling to be charged a fee?
No, but the fee is charged to your account when you pay for a service or service-related items, such as shipping or insurance.
You cannot opt out of auto-sales without having a price for an item in your shopping cart.
You might have noticed a lot of “Buy Now” buttons in your Amazon shopping cart lately, such that Amazon charges you a fee for buying an item.
This fee is called a “delivery fee” and can be set by the seller of a particular item.
The fee will vary depending on how many times an item appears in your cart.
If an item you are currently shopping for appears twice, you may be charged the full fee.
The price of the items you buy will be automatically updated once the item is in your basket.
Some items appear to be automatically included in your order.
These are sometimes called “in-stock” items, and may appear in the order “In Stock”.
If you see an item for sale on Amazon with an asterisk (*), it means that the product is currently available in your online basket.
