Rams signed RB Jordan Cameron to a five-year, $42 million deal
The Rams have signed running back Jordan Cameron, a source told ESPN.
The move comes after the Rams signed Jamaal Williams to a four-year deal.
Both players were on the Rams practice squad last season and were waived in the offseason.
Cameron was originally a seventh-round pick of the Rams in the 2011 NFL Draft, but the team waived him in January after the second round.
He was signed to the team’s practice squad by the Texans in April.
Cameron has rushed for 1,846 yards and 11 touchdowns over three seasons with the Houston Texans.
The Rams signed Cameron in December of last year and he was the Texans’ No. 1 running back in the preseason.
The 33-year-old Cameron had 4,894 yards and 35 touchdowns in two seasons with Houston.
He has played in all 12 games with the Texans this season.
