New Amazon Shopping Cart to launch on March 24th
Amazon is making its ecommerce portal a little more user-friendly for shoppers, with a new shopping cart that will be available on March 23rd.
Users will be able to choose to add items from the cart and add more than one item to the cart at once.
Amazon’s new shopping carts will also be able import multiple items into the cart from their Amazon Prime account, as well as create custom shopping carts for customers.
Amazon Prime customers will be allowed to import up to $100 worth of items per year.
Amazon’s new cart will have a price tag of $99, but the cart is expected to launch as a free trial at launch.
Amazon currently offers three pricing plans for its shopping cart, and it will be interesting to see how the new Amazon shopping cart stacks up against other retailers.
For example, Amazon currently sells its shopping carts on Amazon Prime, so the company’s new Cart will offer the same free shipping, but with the option to pay $99 a year for shipping.
Amazon is also selling a third-party cart called Amazon Prime Plus, which includes a free shipping.
That third-tier option includes Amazon Prime shipping to over 30 countries, but is only available in the United States.
Amazon has also started shipping its Amazon Prime membership to more countries than ever before, including the UK, Germany, France, Singapore, Brazil, and South Africa.
