When it comes to e commerce – clickfunnels, ecommerce – clickfarming?
Clickfunnels – online portals that help merchants and brands generate revenue through the sale of branded items – has a large market share in ecommerce.
The companies have recently made big strides in monetising their ecommerce businesses with the launch of ClickFunnels ecommerce marketplace.
The company, which is owned by ecommerce giant Amazon, has raised $3.7 billion ($1.6 billion in cash) to date.
The company says its business model is to provide customers with the chance to buy branded items at discounted prices through the ClickFunnel platform, which allows them to sell items with a one-click purchase.
“With clickfunools, we’re not just offering a single product, but a broad portfolio of items that can be combined in the marketplace,” said Rahul Chaudhary, VP of product management at ClickFunools.
“There are many products that can also be purchased on the platform, and there is an inventory for the entire shopping experience.
The experience is seamless and we’re helping merchants generate revenue from the sale.”
In order to make money from their eCommerce businesses, companies have to create a channel through which customers can sell their branded items, and then clickthrough their branded product to get the money from Amazon.
It is a process that can take up to three days and can often result in customers making more money than they would have earned through sales.
While ClickFunls ecommerce business has become a success, it is far from the only way for merchants to monetise their online presence.
In fact, many other ecommerce websites are being used by businesses to sell their products.
For example, in February, online store, Shopify, announced that it had raised $2.5 billion ($2.1 billion in equity) in a funding round led by Alibaba.
Shopify, which has more than 1.5 million active merchants, said it would be a leader in the ecommerce space and will be expanding its product portfolio in 2018.
