Walmart says it will stop selling toys and other merchandise with anti-gay language
By Emily RolfesCNNBusiness editor, WashingtonWashington”We’ve said for years that there is no such thing as anti-LGBTQ content in our stores.
That is now our position.””
Our policy is clear: We do not sell, rent, or otherwise sell toys, clothing, or other merchandise that promote, endorse, promote, or promote homosexuality, or any other discriminatory, hateful, or hateful ideology,” Walmart said in a statement.
The move comes after the company removed a number of anti-Semitic and homophobic language from a range of its merchandise last year.
