Juventus striker Romelu Lukaku ‘happy’ to move to Paris, says Rossoneri

Romelus Lukaku says he’s “happy” to join Paris Saint-Germain.

The striker joined the French champions on a free transfer after the season in which he scored 14 goals in 29 games.

“I am happy to be in Paris and that’s the best club in Europe,” Lukaku said.

“They have a great club spirit and a lot of history.

The fans are fantastic and it’s a good club to be at.”

Paris are currently second in Ligue 1, five points behind leaders Real Madrid, but they are three points clear of second-placed Barcelona with six games to play.

“There are some things to work on in the first weeks, but there’s no pressure on me to be better,” Lukakaku said.

“There are positives and negatives.

I have been here for a year and I’ve learned a lot.”
